Frisk / Pat-Down Search:

A frisk search may be conducted by any faculty member who has reason to suspect that a student may be in possession of a restricted item. A frisk search is conducted by using ones hands to pat the exterior of the clothing in an attempt to locate hidden items. A frisk search will generally include the student being required to empty their pockets.

Search of Belongings:

A students personal belongings including but not limited to backpacks, pockets, lockers, cubbies, desks, lunchboxes, etc are also subject to search by any faculty member who has reason to suspect that a student may be in possession of a restricted item.

Invasive Search (Strip Search):

An invasive search requires a student to remove their clothing to verify that they are not in possession of a restricted item. Any faculty member may request that a student be subject to an invasive search if they have reason to believe that they are in possession of a restricted item. Only an Academy Police officer may conduct said search and it must be in the presence of the Headmaster and privately out of view of any uninvolved students.
