It is the official policy of BAS Academy that all students are required to adhere to certain standards of behavior in an effort to maintain a safe and secure learning environment for themself and their peers.
Students who find themselves unable to adhere to our standards of behavior will be subject to disciplinary action at the discretion of School Administration.
The primary disciplinary action utilized at our school is Corporal Punishment (Spanking). Corporal Punishment is limited in scope in the following ways.
State of Dress – Corporal Punishment is usually administered to the seat of the students underpants. When School Administration deems it reasonably necessary it may be administered to the students bare bottom.
Implement – Corporal Punishment may be administered by hand or an implement including but not limited to a ruler, hairbrush, or wooden paddle without holes.
Witness – Corporal Punishment requires a witness to be present which may be either a faculty member of the same gender as the student in question. or an electronic recording of the event.
Discretion – The specific details of the disciplinary action will be left to the discretion of School Administration.
