Academy Police Officers are limited in scope of jurisdiction to the real property owned or occupied by B.A.S. Academy.
Notwithstanding the above, Academy Police Officers are permitted to retrieve a truant student from off-campus and return them to school.
B.A.S. Academy is considering a Memorandum of Understanding with the XXX City Police Department and XXX County Sheriffs Department, which will give them jurisdiction and full peace officer authority throughout those jurisdictions as well.
